We have found PGA Junior League to be a great way to introduce the game but also a way for our current players to enjoy the camaraderie of team competition in the stress free environment of a scramble format.
We utilize PGA Jr League to introduce the sport akin to other recreational sports for youth. Each season has skills training the whole season. At the half-way mark of each season, Game Days commence where two or three players are joined together to play a scramble event another two or three players from another team. Hole by hole matches are played; parents and families watch; and coaches coach and support to help each new player learn how to take their newly acquired skills and apply them on the field of play (the golf course).
PGA Jr League has two age divisions called 13U for players ages 6-13 and 17U for players ages 14-17. Both have an age cut-off date of July 31st of the League year.
